Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information is — and is not — collected when you use Dokploy Client (the “App”) and the website at dokployclient.app (together, the “Service”), and how that information is used. Dokploy Client is built to manage your own self-hosted or Dokploy Cloud infrastructure, and it is designed to collect as little about you as possible.
- No account, no sign-up, and no personal profile.
- Your server URLs, API keys and credentials stay on your device and are sent only to your own Dokploy servers — never to us.
- If you enable push notifications, only an anonymous device push token is used, solely to relay your deployment alerts.
- Payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store — we never see your card details.
- The website uses Google Analytics. The app does not track you.
- No advertising, no remarketing, no email marketing, no selling of data.

The Service is provided by Adderley Group Ltd. (“Kingpin Apps”, “we”, “us” or “our”), P.O. Box 91, Grand Cayman, KY1-1601, Cayman Islands. “You” means the person using the Service.
Information we collect
In the app — effectively none
Dokploy Client has no accounts and no backend of ours. The connection details you enter — your Dokploy instance URLs, API keys, SSH keys, TLS certificates and any other credentials — are stored locally on your device in the system Keychain and are transmitted only directly to the Dokploy servers you choose to connect to. We do not receive, store, or have any access to this information.
Push notifications (optional)
If you choose to enable push notifications, your device registers an anonymous push token (an Apple Push Notification service / APNs device identifier) with our notification relay. This token is used for one purpose only: to forward deployment, build and related events from your Dokploy instance to your device. The token is not your name, email, phone number or account, and it is not linked to your identity. We use it solely to deliver the notifications you asked for. If you turn off notifications for an instance, the device is unsubscribed and the token is no longer used to contact you. If you never enable push notifications, none of this applies.
Website usage data
When you visit dokployclient.app, our analytics provider automatically collects standard usage data such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you view, and the date, time and duration of your visit. This is used to understand site traffic and improve the website. See “Analytics” below.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the Service.
- To deliver the push notifications you have explicitly enabled.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral remarketing, email marketing, or any form of profiling, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Payments
Dokploy Client is a one-time purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We never receive, handle, or store your payment card or billing details — Apple does not share them with us. For information about how Apple handles your purchase, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to track and report traffic on dokployclient.app. Google uses the data collected to help us understand how the website is used. For more information, see Google’s Privacy & Terms. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google Analytics is used on the website only; it is not embedded in the App.
Cookies
The website uses cookies and similar technologies only for the Google Analytics measurement described above. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; some site features may behave differently if you do. The App itself does not use cookies.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple App Store — distribution and payment for the App. Apple Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement. Google Privacy Policy
- Your Dokploy servers — the instances you connect to receive your requests directly; they are operated by you or your provider, not by us.
Data retention
On-device data (your credentials and settings) remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the App. A push token is retained by our relay only while you have notifications enabled for an instance, and is removed when you disable them. Website analytics data is retained by Google in accordance with its own retention policies.
Security
Credentials are stored in the device Keychain and can be protected behind Face ID, Touch ID or a PIN. Communication with your Dokploy servers and our notification relay uses encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect the limited data involved.
International transfers
Our notification relay and analytics provider may process data on servers located outside your country. Where this happens, the data involved is limited to the anonymous push token and standard website usage data described above.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes are effective when posted.
